Questions, bug reports, feature ideas, guide suggestions — we read everything. HandyCompress is a small operation, so you're writing to the people who actually build the tools.

Reporting a bug?

The more of this you include, the faster we can fix it:

• Which tool you were using (PDF compressor, HEIC converter, EXIF tool, image compressor)
• Your browser and operating system (e.g. "Chrome on Windows 11", "Safari on iPhone")
• What kind of file you were processing — its format and rough size
• What you expected, and what happened instead

Please don't email us your actual files. We don't need them — and frankly, not having your files is the whole point of this site. A description of the file (format, size, where it came from) is enough to reproduce almost any issue.

Suggesting a feature or tool?

Tell us the problem you're trying to solve, not just the feature name — "I need to send 30 photos to my insurance company and their portal caps each file at 2 MB" is far more useful to us than "add batch resize." Several of the tools on this site exist because someone emailed us a problem.

Privacy questions

The short version: your files never leave your device, and we couldn't see them even if we wanted to. The long version — including what little data the site does handle (ads and anonymous traffic measurement) — is in our privacy policy. If something there is unclear, email us and we'll answer plainly.
